¯ LaBRAE 76, LIBERTY 62: LIBERTY — The Vikings outscored Liberty by 11 points in the fourth quarter on their way to a league victory over the Leopards Friday. LaBrae (3-1, 2-0) scored 24 points in the fourth quarter to Liberty’s 13 to pull away. Leading for Liberty (1-1, 1-1) was Jameer Weaver with 16 points. Rushad Chambers scored 12 and D’Andre Venters paced the Leopards with 11.

¯ CHAMPION 44, BROOKFIELD 42: BROOKFIELD — The Golden Flashes outscored Brookfield 14-8 in the fourth quarter to get the win and move to 2-1. Trayvon Edwards led Champion with 15 points on the night. Austin Willforth scored seven points and led the team in rebounds with 11. Donovan Pawlowski scored 13 points to lead the Warriors and Isaiah Jones scored 11 points and brought down 11 rebounds.

¯ URSULINE 73, HOWLAND 43: HOWLAND — A 24-point game for Brady Shannon helped guide the Fighting Irish to a win over Howland Friday night. Shannon had a game-high 24 with Vinny Flauto following up with nine. Leading for Howland was Anthony Massucci who scored 22. Ursuline moves to 5-3 on the year.

¯ BRISTOL 82, FAIRPORT 41: FAIRPORT HARBOR — A 32-point second quarter helped push Bristol past Fairport to move to 2-1 on the year. Nick Church led the team with 17 points. Jonny Stephens and Mikey Burbach each scored 13 points and Jeremy Miller added 10. The Panthers hit 10 3-pointers on the night.

¯ MATHEWS 60, CHALKER 43: VIENNA — Vincent Greenwood had a double-double with 20 rebounds and 11 points for the Mustangs in a win over Chalker. Dominic Greenwood led the team with 16 points and Kyle Powell added 11. Jordan Kellar scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Wildcats. Derek Sherwood paced Chalker with 12.

¯ PYMATUNING VALLEY 64, BADGER 47: VERNON — Tanner Rhoades scored 19 points for the Lakers in a league win over Badger. He and Jonah Wilkerson combined for 36 of the team’s 64 points. Brad Hamilton led the Braves with 18 points and Jack Lendak added 12. Carter Burnett scored seven points for Badger and brought down 21 of the team’s 40 rebounds.

≤ FITCH 71, MOONEY 63: AUSTINTOWN — The Falcons outscored Mooney 16-7 in the extra frame to beat Mooney 71-63 Friday night. Todd Simons continued his stellar senior campaign with a game-high 23 points against the Cardinals. Allen Underwood scored 16 and Isaac Boyd added 14 points for the Falcons. Mick Hergenrother led Mooney with 21 points and Thomas Fire added 14. Jack Pepperney paced the Cardinals with 12.

¯ POLAND 66, NILES 23: NILES — The Bulldogs held Niles to two points in the first quarter on their way to a big victory over the Red Dragons. Michael Gordon and Anthony Perry led Poland with 11 points each. Ross Dedo and Andrew Centofanti each added 10. Doug Foster led Niles with seven points. Alleni Fryer brought down 11 rebounds.

¯ STRUTHERS 65, HUBBARD 20: HUBBARD — Struthers held the Eagles to four points in the first quarter and 10 in the first half to score a huge win over Hubbard. The Wildcats went into the locker room with a 35-10 lead over Hubbard at halftime. Leading for Struthers was William Bloom with 14 points. Aidan Slocum scored 13 and Brandon Washington added 10.

¯ SPRINGFIELD 69, MINERAL RIDGE 52: NEW MIDDLETOWN — A 20-point game from Beau Brungard helped push Springfield past Mineral Ridge to move to 6-2 on the year. Brungard had a game-high and was followed up by RJ Smith with 19 points, Alex Rothwell with 11 and Lukas Yemma who added 10. The Rams were led by Austin Governor who had 14 points.

¯ LOWELLVILLE 79, JACKSON-MILTON 53: LOWELLVILLE — The Rockets took the energy from their win over Kennedy earlier in the week to beat Jackson-Milton Friday night. Vinny Ballone led the team with 24 points. Anthony Lucente scored 16 points and both Cole and Brady Bunofsky added 10 points each. Lowellville scored 30 points in the final quarter to pull away. Leading for the Blue Jays was Mason Robison with 14 points. Frank Prozy scored 12 and Cole Grope added 11.


¯ HARDING 93, CHANEY 20: WARREN — Harding outscored the Cowgirls 28-7 in the first quarter en route to a huge victory over Chaney. The Raiders had three players in double-figures as their “big three” of Faith Burch (23 points), Kamarah Bender (23 points) and Diamond Phillips (22 points) all cleared the 20-point threshold. Harding is now 2-0.
