Harding, Howland, Kennedy all post wins

¯ HARDING 64, LAKESIDE 54: ASHTABULA — D’Muntize Owens had a game-high 18 points to lead four double-figure scorers as the Raiders pulled past the Dragons.

Emari Burgess had 13 for Harding (13-7), while DeAveion Burgess and Ty Artis each had 11 points. The Raiders outscored the Dragons 20-12 in the third quarter.

Brandon Ford had a game-high 26 points for Ashtabula Lakeside (7-11), while Sean McKee added 10.

¯ HOWLAND 60, LIBERTY 49: HOWLAND — Cam Durig scored 13 points for the Tigers in a victory over Liberty.

Durig led Howland with Gage Tomko scoring 12, Vince Marimpietri scored 10 and both Anthony Massucci and Gabe Badea added nine.

James Davis led the Leopards with a game-high 16 points.

Howland moves on to 5-14 on the year.

¯ KENNEDY 63, VALLEY CHRISTIAN 47: YOUNGSTOWN — Cam Hollobaugh had a game-high 27 points to lead Kennedy past Valley Christian.

Gabe Green added 17 points for Kennedy (6-10).

Mark Revere led Valley Christian (3-12) with 14 points, while Sekov Stanley put in 11.

¯ LaBRAE 64, CRESTVIEW 47: COLUMBIANA — Connor Meyer scored 24 points for the Vkings to pick up a league win over Crestview.

Meyer’s 24 points was a game-high. Aidan Stephens scored 11 and Landon Kiser added 10.

¯ NEWTON FALLS 64, BROOKFIELD 49: BROOKFIELD — The Tigers will claim at least a share of the All-American Conference Blue Tier title with a win over Brookfield.

Cole Marquette led Newton Falls with 21 points and Joey Kline added 17.

Conner Stevens scored a game-high for the Warriors, putting up 31 points.

The Tigers move to 17-3 on the year and 10-1 in the league.

¯ GIRARD 42, SOUTH RANGE 40: GIRARD — Christian Graziano and Lorenzo Frigerio each scored 15 points for the Indians to hold on and beat South Range.

Girard outscored the Raiders 31-23 in the second and third quarters to get the lead after trailing by four in the first quarter.

¯ STRUTHERS 59, NILES 39: STRUTHERS — Brandon Washington had a game-high 19 points to lead the Wildcats past the Red Dragons in this Northeast-8 contest. Carson Ryan added 16 points for Struthers (15-2, 10-2 NE-8), while Aidan Slocum put in 14.

Doug Foster paced Niles (3-13, 2-9) with 12 points, while Joe Wolfe scored 11.

¯ BRISTOL 97, MAPLEWOOD 25: BRISTOLVILLE — In “The Battle For the Paddle” the Panthers gave Maplewood a paddling on their way to a win.

Bristol had a 36-0 lead after the first quarter and continued to pile the offense on. Matt Stephens and Nick Church both led the team with 19 points each. Mike Wiebe scored 17 points and Matt Church added 13.

Connor Steffens led Maplewood with 14 points.

¯ PYMATUNING VALLEY 75, MATHEWS 71 (OT): ANDOVER — Tyler Roscoe hit a 3-pointer with two seconds in regulation to tie the game up at 62, but the Lakers had the edge in overtime and Pymatuning Valley completed the season sweep.

Mathews trailed by as many as 13 in the third quarter, but were able to rally back in the fourth, outscoring the Lakers 20-15. Roscoe’s shot sent the match to overtime, where Pymatuning Valley outscored the Mustangs 13-9 to get the win.

Jonah Wilkerson led the Lakers with 21 points and Robert Verba added 15.

Leading for Mathews was Roscoe with 19 points. Vinny Sharp had 18 and Dominic Greenwood added 15.

¯ BADGER 56, WINDHAM 52: WINDHAM — Down by six after the third quarter, the Braves rallied back to take down Windham.

Badger scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to retake the lead and get the win.

Logan Lendak led the Braves with a game-high 23 points. Brad Hamilton scored 14 points and Heath Stanhope added 11.

Bert Jones scored 19 points for Windham. Ericq Williams and Mikiylen Jones added 11 points each.

¯ LORDSTOWN 54, UNITED 48: HANOVERTON — The Red Devils maintained a slight edge over United the entire game to get the win.

Jay Frank led Lordstown with 15 points and Aiden Force added 10.

¯ HUDSON 54, AUSTINTOWN FITCH 51: HUDSON — The Falcons mounted a comeback effort, but it wasn’t enough to overtake Hudson.

Fitch scored 22 points in the fourth quarter, while holding the Explorers to 12 points.

Todd Simons led the Falcons with 19 points and Kris Brown added 14.

¯ POLAND 63, HUBBARD 56: POLAND — Michael Cougras and Andrew Centofanti combined to score 30 points and the host Bulldogs stayed in contention for a Northeast-8 Conference title by holding off the Eagles.

Cam Resatar tallied 26 points to pace Hubbard, including 15 on 3-pointers. Chanze Kelley supplied 14 points and Jayden Record added 10 for Hubbard (5-13 and 3-10).

¯ JACKSON-MILTON 59, LEETONIA 47: LEETONIA — Mason Robison poured in 22 points to lead the visiting Blue Jays past the Bears in a non-league battle.

Jackson Milton used an 18-7 scoring advantage in the second period to take a 29-18 halftime lead and stretched it to 45-27 entering the final quarter.

Nick McGinnies added nine points for the Blue Jays, who moved their mark to 7-14.

¯ GRAND VALLEY 70, BERKSHIRE 57: ORWELL — A 26-point fourth quarter helped propel the Mustangs past Berkshire.

Grand Valley led 44-39 after the third quarter, but were able to extend that lead with a strong fourth quarter.

Ashton Zupancic scored a game-high 26 points for Grand Valley. Derek Jackson scored 16 and Malik Mitchell added 13.
