LaBrae, Leopards, PV victorious

¯ LaBRAE 55, LAKEVIEW 43: LEAVITTSBURG — Laura McCoy led the Vikings with 15 points in LaBrae’s win over Lakeview.

McCoy was one of four Vikings to reach double-figures. Lenox McConaughey, Jenna Reppart and Paige Wilson also reached the mark with 13, 12 and 10 points.

Maggie Pavlansky led the Bulldogs with 23 points, with seven field goals and went six-of-seven from the free throw line. The Bulldogs outscored LaBrae 22-16 in the third quarter but it wasn’t enough.

Up next, the Vikings host Windham and Lakeview opens conference play against South Range.

¯ LIBERTY 83, NILES 33: NILES — Four players scored in double figures for the Leopards, who overcame a slow start to cruise past Niles for a non-league victory.

Delia Watson led a balanced Liberty attack with 24 points. Cianna Smith chipped in 15 for the Leopards (3-0), who held just a 6-4 edge after one quarter but outscored Niles, 61-17, over the second and third quarters. Sharda Williamson (13) and Demi Watson (11) reached double figures as well.

Aneziah Fryer paced Niles with 17 points.

¯ PV 66, CHALKER 27: ANDOVER — Kendall Baker had 19 points to lead three double-figure scorers for the Lakers.

Ellie Struna added 15, while Morgan McClure added 11 for PV (3-0, 1-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference).

Livia Rhodes and Aleeyah Pack each had six for Chalker (0-2, 0-1).

¯ MATHEWS 46, WINDHAM 25: VIENNA — Ashley Deans and Bella Greenwood combined for 28 of the Mustangs’ 46 points to push Mathews over Windham.

Deans led the team with 16 points and Greenwood added 12. Both Deans and Greenwood had three steals and five rebounds.

Leading the Mustangs in rebounds was Mya McGregor with six.

Zahra Cunningham scored 14 points for the Bombers.

¯ BROOKFIELD 62, LISBON 40: BROOKFIELD — Two of Lisbon’s scorers combined for 36 points in a loss to Brookfield.

Izzy Perez scored 19 and Maddie Liberati scored 17.

Leading Brookfield was Audrey Reardon with 14 points and Becca Litz added 10.

The Warriors were neck-and-neck with Lisbon until the fourth quarter when Brookfield outscored the Blue Devils 17-6.

Up next, the Warriors host Springfield.

¯ CRESTVIEW 39, GIRARD 37: GIRARD — Addison Bandy had back-to-back 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as the Rebels took a 32-31 lead and the Indians never recovered.

Girard (0-3) led 31-26 going into the fourth quarter.

Tanner Hoffer had six of her 11 points in the fourth quarter for Crestview (2-0).

Krista Perry led the Rebels with 15 points.

Emily Fitzgerald paced Girard with 10 points.
