Ursuline star Harris is 1st-team All-Ohio

COLUMBUS — Ursuline senior guard Dayshanette Harris was named to the All-Ohio Division II first team.

The 5-foot-7 University of Pittsburgh recruit averaged 28.3 points per game. She was Northeast Inland District Player of the Year in Division II.

The Division I and II girls basketball All-Ohio teams were announced Wednesday by a statewide media panel. The teams were selected by members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.

Howland’s Alex Ochman, a 6-0 senior, averaged 16.7 points per game, and was named to special mention on the Division II All-Ohio team. Ochman, a Shawnee State recruit, was a first-team selection on the Inland District team.

Austintown Fitch 6-2 senior Sabria Hunter, who was accepted to the United States Military Academy, was a Division I special mention on the All-Ohio team. Hunter was named to the first team on the Inland District team, averaging 23.9 points per game.
