Democrats, teachers unions loved vetoes
DEAR EDITOR:
I knew the Democrats and school unions would have common cause with lame-duck DeWine vetoes. They start huffing and puffing after the vetoes. The school unions all across the nation continually want more and more and enjoy all the excesses of all the nonstop increases in property taxes.
With the Democrats, there is no curtailing of property taxes and they will resist any reasonable plan to fund the schools other than a blank check. The citizens know the bill is a good one and more than fair to the school unions, and nothing bad will happen to the schools. Property taxes are a big issue and real reform is needed and the legislation meets the goal.
This reminds me of my Dad, who would talk about “the guy that cried poor mouth while having two loaves of bread under his arm. Maybe Vivek Ramaswamy will bring a Department of Government Efficiency to Ohio. Then watch the Democrats cry “poor mouth.”
