DEAR EDITOR:

I find it surprising that Michael Kripchak is underrepresented in the reporting relating to the upcoming November elections. Mike was the “under the radar” candidate that shocked the state and the nation last June 11 when he came within striking distance of his “establishment” opponent, Michael Rulli.

Kripchak swung his district by 22 points, over-performing in all 11 counties and turning “red” Tuscarawas County “blue.”

Could it be that Michael Kripchak’s presentations throughout the counties gave his constituents an in-depth overview of his attributes and accomplishments, thereby convincing voters that he is the candidate for the job?

Kripchak was a 1st lieutenant in the United States Air Force and a Distinguished Graduate from the Air Force Academy with a degree in physics. He was employed as a science and acquisitions officer at the Air Force Research Laboratories in Boston, Massachusetts; and, he was in contract management, requesting and delivering both classified and public government projects, including over $1 million in federal funding.

Kripchak also holds a master’s degree from New York University in Interactive Telecommunications. After graduating from NYU, he started a company with a fellow graduate. As head of partnerships, he was responsible for securing funding through investors, incubators, and for client outreach.

By reading about Kripchak at www.kripchak.com and by attending his public forums, could it be that voters learned of his platform, his outstanding qualifications, and his plans for how his constituents can realize the American Dream?

A candidate of integrity, formed by the strength of family, education and personal responsibility, Kripchak is an advocate of self-determination. From his biography, one has to acknowledge his pride in country by his service to America. His great respect for science is also highly visible. He knows the strength of family, respects traditions, and values the power of education.

Kripchak was instilled with the value of hard work and respect for others, and he displays sensitivity for the needs of others. He has the prerequisites for building an America that is strong — not silenced, an America that is built on the promise that every person will be presented the opportunity to live with protected freedoms. These freedoms are penned in our Constitution by our forefathers and defended by our military and police so that all would benefit from a peaceful nation and help to ensure the continuity of our faith-based nation.

Kripchak is willing to persevere in the research, hard work, and resolve necessary to insure America maintains its freedoms for her citizens and for those on the path to citizenship.
