Trump and Harris are flawed choices
DEAR EDITOR:
Current USA population is 345 million-plus, and, out of close to 400 million people, we have two flawed presidential candidates that are competing for the highest office in the land.
They’re far from the best and the brightest we have in our nation. Why is it, we’re always picking the lesser of two evils instead of having a really difficult time choosing between candidates because of their past proven accomplishments, abundance of capabilities, clear moral standing, and true leadership abilities that serves everyone’s interest by limiting government and not expanding it.
One thing is for sure, Kamala Harris will not be running the country if elected. It will be the same elitist group that has been running our government affairs for the past three plus years causing inflation, higher cost of living, higher taxation, shrinking income, unaffordable housing, higher energy cost, dwindling ability to make a living, and a destabilization around the globe.
For those of you thinking that things will be different under Harris than Joe Biden; please think for yourself, are you willing to believe what’s being told to you or what the current actions are that hurt the vast majority of citizens? If Harris states she wouldn’t have done anything different than Biden, ask yourself, how will things improve? Logic and reasoning dictate it won’t.
The No. 1 issue being promoted by Democrats in this campaign is women’s health care or reproductive rights. In reality, killing unborn babies has nothing to do with reproduction and everything to do with eliminating the undesirables from society. Margaret Sanger advocated for the extermination of African Americans through abortion. If the Democrats are so quick to call someone racist, why do they so fervently support abortion, which is just a way to exterminate what they deem as undesirable?
On the other hand, Donald Trump is a flawed individual as well, but he won’t be influenced or bought out by the current elites that are running our country into the ground.
He won’t cave into the demands of The World Economic Forum or United Nations. He will push for policies that will help the ordinary citizens. The wealth of a nation is not in its government, but in the productive people that create goods and services. When government overregulates restricting and limiting entrepreneurship, picking wi nners and losers then we have all lost the American Dream.
More regulation equals less freedom, individuality is lost, creative ventures stay just a dream, and wealth is for those that bend the ears of politicians. Capitalism lifts up everyone in society and can only be compatible in a free society. So the question is, will you choose freedom and liberty, or slavery to the government for false promise of a free handout?
