Follow the law and use ID card to vote

DEAR EDITOR:

Voter ID is a requirement to validate your vote.

To vote by mail you must sign and date the ballot and return it in the envelope provided. That is the law. Yet, the Democratic party wants to skirt the law again and count that an invalid vote. No. Georgia now says they will not require any ID the next election. That is called voter fraud.

People need ID for the doctor, to be admitted to a hospital, cash a check, withdraw money, borrow money from a bank or lending company. You cannot buy a house without ID, buy cigarettes if under 18, you even need ID to donate blood; it’s proof of lawful status in this country. If you are 65 or older, you need to show your Medicare card and proof of insurance with your name on it.

You can get a state ID card. It is not that hard.
