Witch hunt is over; Donald is found
Week after week, the Tribune Chronicle’s editorial pages are filled with letters expressing either admiration for, or disgust with, former President Donald Trump.
Neither side can comprehend how the other side could possibly believe what it does. One thing, however, is beyond dispute — during one of his 2016 campaign rallies, Trump used words and gestures to mock a physically challenged person. It’s on video; we all saw it. It’s an example of the lowest form of human behavior. Regardless of anything else, it should have disqualified the man from the privilege of leading this country.
One of Trump’s favorite terms among his limited vocabulary is “witch hunt.” Each time he has used it, I want to tell him, “There is no hunt, Donald. The witch has been found.”
