We all must work for the common good

DEAR EDITOR:

Take away the layer of skin, now tell me were you black, brown, Asian, Indian, Caucasian? What race were you?

We are all human beings, created magnificent and unique by our God, the God that gave us capabilities beyond comprehension.

It is up to us as individuals to honor, respect and utilize those marvelous gifts for the better good of humanity and the country in which we live.

It is past time for protest. Remembrance requires more than a parade interspersed with violence. You have had significant time to protest injustice. Now is the time to honor those lost lives.

Communication, sharing ideas and rebuilding communities in active positive participation requires all of us working together.
