Let governors handle COVID in their states
DEAR EDITOR:
There is so much criticism out there, but no one comes up with a better plan than the one they are criticizing.
There are the demonstrators with their signs saying they want to get back to work. What good is it to get back to work if you don’t live to spend the paycheck?
National news contributor Erik Erickson complains that Donald Trump has no fixed plan, that he is abandoning the state governors. Well, I heard President Trump tell the nation that each state is different from one another.
Each governor should know his or her own state. He or she should know where the so-called “hot spots” are in that state and make decisions accordingly. It’s time for them to start governing. This is what they promised their constituents when they ran for office.
