Ohio can’t afford to take in refugees

DEAR EDITOR:

On his Fox News show, Tucker Carlson recently stated approximately 18 Republican states (among them the state of Ohio) want to take in refugees after President Trump told them it was the state’s decision.

What he found remarkable about this was that these same states refused to take in refugees from President Obama. His question was: What has changed?

The residents of each state should have input on this decision.

My questions to the governor of Ohio is: What has changed?

Does Ohio have an unlimited budget and taxpayer dollars for caring for these individuals? I think not.

I can only conclude, “Follow the money.”
