Children need a school bus

DEAR EDITOR:

My grandchildren have to walk to school with many others on Youngstown Road and other side roads.

There are gun shots every day and night. They need a bus — at least to have something to protect them.

When they hear shots at night, they hit the floor. What are they supposed to hit when shots are fired?

Our children and grandchildren mean everything to us. What do they mean to you?
