Business as usual for Ohio executions

DEAR EDITOR:

The Feb. 27 Tribune Chronicle article about Mike DeWine suspending executions sounds as if DeWine has consulted with Kasich about this, and it just remains business as usual.

What a slap in the face to the parents of Raymond Fife. Instead of playing the waiting game, thus avoiding any more confrontations, why not initiate the gallows?

Why is DeWine so afraid of causing Danny Lee Hill, and seven others from this state, any excessive pain? Hill has been on death row for 33 years. That kind of makes a mockery of our justice (or lack of) system, doesn’t it?

Marion Fife deserves so much more.
