Election letter deadline extended

Due to the postponement of Ohio’s primary election due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this newspaper will continue accepting letters from local writers regarding the upcoming primary election candidates and issues for several additional days.

April 15 is the deadline for this newspaper to receive letters to the editor about the April 28 election for publication in the newspaper’s print edition. Election letters received after the deadline may appear on the newspaper’s website.

Letters should be respectful of all candidates. Letters will be published in this newspaper as space permits on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to edit letters or reject those we deem inappropriate. Preference will be given to shorter letters.

We will not print anonymous letters. All letters must be signed and include the writer’s address and daytime phone number. Only the writer’s name and community will be published.

All other regular letter rules apply.

Email letters to editor@tribtoday.com or mail them to Letters to the Editor, Tribune Chronicle, 240 Franklin St. SE, Warren, OH 44483.
