12 amazing stars make our area a better place

Twelve amazing members of our community are Trumbull County’s newest Community Stars. Details of their stories and the amazing things they selflessly do for their communities can be found in a special magazine inside today’s Tribune Chronicle.

Each was honored during the 17th annual Community Stars dinner Tuesday evening. That brings the total number of inspirational honorees who have been saluted since the program originated in 2002 to almost 200!

The Tribune Chronicle and Trumbull 100, event sponsors, take great joy in honoring these wonderful people who consistently manage to find ways to step up to make their communities an even better place to live and work.

This year’s Stars were chosen from among dozens of nominees. The newspaper thanks those who took the time to submit a nomination and thanks those who were among the nominees. The committee’s selection process is always a challenge because there are so many nominees worthy of honor for their love and dedication and for using their time and talents to benefit others.
