There’s no place for anti-Semitism
Every member of the U.S. Senate, all 100 of them, signed a letter to President Donald Trump recently, asking for more federal action to find those behind threats targeting nearly 100 Jewish synagogues, community centers and schools during recent weeks.
One arrest has been made, but that suspect is alleged to have been involved in only a few of the threats.
Trump has made his personal disgust with the threats clear. But he should heed the senators and order the FBI to intensify its investigation of the threats.
They fall clearly into the category of hate crimes motivated by religion. Good for the senators for making it clear no real American finds such harassment acceptable.
