Hazel ‘Sis’ Crowder 1950-2025
BRISTOLVILLE — Hazel “Sis” Crowder, 74, of Bristolville, passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
Hazel was born Nov. 23, 1950, in Warren, to the late James O. Henry and Virginia I. Peterson Henry.
She was employed for 25 years at Trumbull Memorial Hospital as a medical assistant. Hazel was married to the late Ronald Crowder for 38 years.
Hazel is survived by her son, Donald “Root Crowder” E. (Traci) Airgood of Warren; stepson, Carl Iser of Warren; sisters, Sarah (Roland) Manes of Warren and Patti (Ralph) Greathouse of Leavittsburg; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, John L. Airgood Jr.; and brother, James L. Henry.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Warren Township.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
