Lorraine Moronti Smith 1964-2025

She was born on March 17, 1964, in Warren, to John and Rosemary Blase Moronti.

Lorraine graduated from Warren Western Reserve in 1982 from the horticulture program and worked as a floral designer for many years. Lorraine then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Kent State University and continued her career managing several gas station / convenience stores.

She was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan and, in her spare time, enjoyed cooking.

Lorraine is survived by her child, Asher Green of Pittsburgh; her mother, Rosemary Moronti of Niles; sisters, Rebecca (Chris) Fire of Asheville and Sharon (Shon) Fitzgerald of Warren; and nephews, Alex (Sarah) Fitzgerald of Cortland and Nick Fitzgerald of Niles.

She was preceded in death by her father, John; her brother, David; and her sister, Amanda.

Per Lorraine’s wishes, she will be cremated and no service will be held.
