James V. Altiere Jr. 1939-2025
WARREN — James V. Altiere Jr., 86, died early Saturday, May 10, 2025, following a period of declining health.
James was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Sharon, Pa., a son to James V. Altiere Sr. and Betty L. Egolf Altiere.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Jim worked as a purchasing manager for the Tartan Company and later as a part-time security guard for RMI before retiring.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his brothers, William Altiere of Hubbard and Thomas Altiere of Warren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy Whinning Altiere; and one brother.
Private services were held.
