Arthur R. Tracy 1941-2025

BRISTOLVILLE — Arthur Ray Tracy, 83, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, at Washington Square Healthcare.

He was born April 6, 1941, in Warren, a son of the late Harold Holt Tracy and the late Emma Foder. On Feb. 29, 1996, he married Debbie Scott Parfitt.

Arthur was a 1959 graduate of Howland High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. After his military service, he started his career as a line mechanic-machinist at General Electric Ohio Lamp Plant, retiring after more than 33 years.

Arthur was a member of Cortland Moose Lodge, American Legion and the American Federation of Musicians. He played the bass guitar with several area bands for 40 years.

Arthur enjoyed good music, a cold beer, golf, NASCAR, guitar, visiting Florida and reading the daily newspaper. He loved his pets, cats, Nino, Mix and Gemma; and his dogs, Bella and his precious Luna.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Scott Parfitt Tracy of Bristolville; daughter, Kelley Stewart of Cleveland; grandchildren, Abby Jr. and Kevon Freeman, and Dresden Stewart; sister, Ms. Janet L. Reiser of Howland; and nephew, Mark Nori of Howland.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services at this time.

The family requests that material contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County in his memory.
