Perlina D. Haynie 1946-2025

Perlina was born Dec. 3, 1946, in Philippi, W.Va., a daughter of Andrew and Edna Martini Poling.

She was a member of New Life Community Church in Vienna.

Perlina loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her dogs, Shawna and Jasper.

She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family: her husband, James Haynie, whom she married Nov. 4, 1994; her children, Regina (Edward) Williams of Hubbard, Thomas (Jen) Humphreys of Cortland, Donna (Vince) Jethroe of Warren and Eric (Rachael) Humphreys of Dayton; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Humphreys; her son, James Humphreys; granddaughter, Nicole Wilson; great-grandson, Memphis Vance; her brothers, Francis Poling and William Poling; and sisters, Barbara Shaffer and Patricia Braddock.

Services will be 4 p.m., with calling hours 3 to 4 p.m., Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

Perlina will be laid to rest in Brookfield Township Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
