Paul P. Pecorelli 1934-2024

WARREN — Paul P. Pecorelli, 90, of Warren, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, from natural causes.

Paul was born in Warren on Feb. 1, 1934, son of the late Pasquale and Lucia DiMauro Pecorelli.

On May 19, 1962, he married Shirley Ann Lalli. They shared 46 years together until her passing on Aug. 4, 2008.

Paul worked several jobs growing up in Warren, and settled at Van Huffel for 10 years. He then worked for General Motors, Packard Electric, retiring after more than 25 years.

Paul and Shirley retired to Brandon, Florida for a few years before returning to Warren.

Paul was drafted into the Army Dec. 4, 1956, and served two years in Korea in the 1st Cavalry Division as a Private First Class, APO 24. He drove Army artillery vehicles and on June 11, 1958, he received a Certificate of Safety Award for 5,000 miles without an accident.

Paul was famous around his friends and family for his excellent Italian deep dish pizza making skills! He enjoyed walking the Eastwood Mall, yard work, feeding the neighborhood squirrels and cats. He loved cooking and fixing stuff around the house. He will be greatly missed.

Paul is survived by his children, Paul (Brenda) Pecorelli of North Royalton, Gary Pecorelli of Wellsville and Lynette (Chuck) Rogers of Royse City, Texas; a sister, Filomena “Fanny” Sattarelle of Poland; grandchildren, Brenden Rogers, Dylan Rogers, Jason Rogers and Gianna Pecorelli; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Joseph Pecorelli, Michael Pecorelli, Tony Piccorelli, Catherine “Kay” Carson, Donatina “Tuddy” Bufano and Mary Shrodek.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Paul will be entombed in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
