Linda S. Kelly 1951-2024

Born in Warren, April 18, 1951, Linda graduated from Jackson-Milton High School in 1969. On Oct. 2, 1970, she married the love of her life, Michael L. Kelly Sr., with whom she shared a life for nearly 51 years until his passing in August 2021.

Linda was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.

Those who were close to Linda knew of her love for crafting, the delicious over-the-top meals she made, especially during the holidays and birthday get-togethers, as well as summer barbecues and pool parties.

An avid Cleveland Indians fan, she found great joy in taking her children and grandchildren to baseball games. Linda loved everything patriotic and her home was adorned with the red, white and blue all throughout the year, regardless of season.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (Diana) Kelly and Matthew Kelly; two daughters, Kimberly Kelly and Kristina Kelly; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Ronald (April) Stroup; along with a sister, Pamela (Kent) Ziegler.

In addition to Michael, she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Robert Stroup and the late Florence Dillon Stroup.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation 3 to 4 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
