Cynthia L. Oberhaus 1949–2022

She was born on Easter Sunday, April 17, 1949, in Warren, the daughter of the late Emerson F. and Maxine B. Henry.

A Leavittsburg High School graduate, she attended Bowling Green University, where she met the love of her life, Luther Oberhaus, who preceded her in death in January 2022. They had celebrated 52 wonderful years together, raising their children in Defiance and later moving to Louisville, Ky.

Cindy retired from Humana in 2019, where she worked in the IT department. She most enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and being active in her church community at Our Savior Lutheran Church.

She and Luther loved to travel and had many exciting trips to various countries with friends and family.

Survivors include her children, Geoffrey Oberhaus (Rachel Bradley) and Robin Taylor (Jeffrey); grandchildren, Libbey and Paige; and siblings, Herb Henry (Eva), Diane Nichols (William), Thomas Henry (Cynthia) and Susan Littin (Steven).
