Steven S. Snyder 1969-2021
RAINBOW CITY, Ala. — Steven Scott Snyder, 51, of Rainbow City, Ala., departed this world to be with his heavenly father Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Steve was born July 25, 1969, in Warren, the first of four sons to Jean L. Tysinger and George D. Yvonne Snyder.
Steve graduated from Champion High School and attended Youngstown State University. A lifelong follower of the band Judas Priest, Steve could sing and replicate the high notes of their music with his voice. He played the trumpet, was a great baseball and football athlete and was a giant fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was an extremely funny person, free spirited and truly the life of the party. He was well known for his impressions, backhanded humor and witty sarcasm. During his life, Steve held many positions in the restaurant business and worked for numerous years as a screen printer. Steve took on the role of father to his partner Missi Devoll’s children, Lindsey Smith and Spencer McCord, whom he mentored and coached in multiple sports.
In addition to his parents, Missi, Spencer and Lindsey, Steve leaves behind his heartbroken brothers, Shawn (Beth) and Jesse (April); nephew, Timothy; nieces, Carrie and Callie; grandchildren, Jasper and Livie; one stepsister; three stepbrothers; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Steve is surely reunited in heaven with his brother, Jeremy, who preceded him in death.
Forever at peace and forever loved.
