Nancy Nathan 1929-2021

BERKLEY SPRINGS — Nancy Stein Nathan, 92, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Care Facility in Kearneysville, W.Va.

Born April 5, 1929, in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Maurice and Elma Rubinstein Stein.

She was of the Jewish faith.

Nancy was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School in Niles and attended The Ohio State University. She was the owner / operator of White Star Drug Stores.

Nancy was one of the co-founders of Art in the Park in Berkeley Springs. She ran WFMJ’s Call for action in Youngstown and was very active in the French Creek Conservancy. Nancy enjoyed knitting, working on crafts and cooking, and was an antique dealer for 20 years.

Nancy is survived by her children, Michael Samuel Nathan and Mary Lynn Nathan, both of Berkeley Springs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Nathan in 1969.

Services and burial for Nancy will be private.
