Lillian M. Dilworth 1928-2021

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Lillian M. Dilworth, 92, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Cortland, died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at Infinity Hospice Care in Las Vegas.

She was born Jan. 17, 1928, in Buckhannon, W.Va., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Pumphrey.

Lillian worked as a restaurateur for many years. She owned and operated Dilworth’s Dinner Bell in Cortland for 22 years, prior to retiring in 1995.

She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Jean Dilworth of Las Vegas, with whom she made her home. She also leaves behind a brother, Herbert Dean of Dorset, Ohio; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Dilworth; a son, Thomas H. Dilworth; a daughter, Dorothy D. Dilworth; her parents; two brothers; and a sister.

There are no funeral services or calling hours.

She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in the Hillside Cemetery in Bazetta.
