Margaret E. Clemens, 1930-2020

Together again

WARREN — Margaret E. Clemens, 90, entered peacefully into eternal life Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, at 5:45 p.m., at her home.

She was born Monday, Aug. 25, 1930, in Warren, the daughter of the late John and Mary Elick Kudrich, and was a lifelong area resident.

Margaret was a 1948 graduate of St. Mary High School. She was a former member of St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls.

A talented homemaker, Margaret loved to bake and cook and enjoyed watching the Food Network for new cooking ideas.

Margaret was married Sept. 16, 1950, to William T. Clemens Sr. and they were married for 61 years until his passing March 15, 2011. Together they shared the love of two children, William T. (Ann) Clemens Jr., with whom she made her home in Warren, and Susan M. (Scott) Cribley of Southington; two grandchildren, Michael W. Clemens and Lindsay (Ryan) Neely; and by a great-grandson, Cameron Neely.

Besides her parents, and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Gardner and Joan Churchill.

An order of Christian burial will take place privately for the family Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. Msgr. John A. Zuraw, pastor of St. Rose Church in Girard, will officiate. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Margaret’s name to Hospice of the Valley, 979 Tibbetts Wick Road, Suite A, Girard, OH 44420.
