Milton Hatfield 1944-2020

LAS VEGAS — Milton “Butch” Hatfield, 75, passed peacefully Sunday, June 28, 2020, at his home, with his family, after a long battle with Lewy body dementia.

Butch was born July 10, 1944, in Warren, the son of Lester and Mary Hatfield.

He graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1962. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard and worked at Packard Electric for 31 years, retiring in 1996.

After retirement, he moved to Las Vegas to enjoy life and to be with his family.

Butch was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Some of his friendships lasted for more than 65 years. He always showed his strong feelings in his love for his family, friends and co-workers as he worked as a union representative.

Butch was a man with a wonderful heart and always touched the people he came in contact with.

Butch is survived by his two children, Scott Hatfield and Michelle Donaldson Koszer, both of Las Vegas; second wife, Nancy Hatfield of Las Vegas; sister, Sharon Kale of Las Vegas; brothers, Lester Hatfield of Ohio and Edward Hatfield of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Anthony Hatfield, Allyssa Donaldson and Jacob Donaldson of Las Vegas; and son-in-law, Stuart Koszer and daughter-in-law, Ruth Gutierrez.

Preceding him in death were first wife of 38 years, Rosemary U. Hatfield; sister, Martha Silver; mother, Mary Hatfield; and father, Lester Hatfield.

Butch will be very much missed, most of all by his children.
