Barbara L. Clark 1960-2020

RAVENNA — Barbara “Barbi” Lynne Clark, 60, of Ravenna, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

Barbi was born June 13, 1960, in Columbus, Ga., to parents William and Annie Sim Dafoe.

She enjoyed a long career as a medical secretary and had been retired.

Barbi was the most giving lady alive and found joy and laughter in everything. She enjoyed swimming, shopping for others and loved the ocean. Barbi enjoyed writing and poetry and was a published author and poet. Most of all she was a loving wife and mother who considered her family and grandchildren most important to her.

Barbi is survived by her husband of 18 years, David Clark; her children, Joshua (Kathleen) Dafoe and Amanda Binns; her beloved grandchildren, Jordan, Cole, Karmen, Kamren, Kaia, Liam, Lillian and Louella also survive her. She also leaves her brothers, Travis Davis and Robert Dafoe; and her beloved “fur babies” Gizmo and Charles “Charlie” Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Carolyn Davis, Raymond Davis and Rex Davis.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, and family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
