Harold Hegner 1934-2020
WARREN — Harold Hegner, 86, of Warren, died Sunday, March 29, 2020, at Burton Health Care in Burton.
Born March 5, 1934, in Morrell, Pa., he was a Warren resident since 1957.
Harold was an avid fisherman, diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan and he was the “life of the party” being quite the jokester. His greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughters. He was a crane operator for Copperweld Steel in Warren for 26 years.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Joan D. Heinbaugh Hegner of Warren; son, Terry (Thayer) Hegner of Hambden Township; and granddaughters, Emily and Molly Hegner, both of Chardon.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Tracy.
