Leslie J. Chamberlin 1959-2020

AUSTINTOWN — Leslie J. Chamberlin, 60, of Austintown, finished her tenaciously courageous battle with cancer at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Leslie was born April 27, 1959, in Warren, the daughter of Dean and Carolyn Clark Guesman Sr.

She was a 1977 graduate of Warren Harding High School, and was employed in customer service most of her life with multiple companies, the last being The Tamarkin Co. in Crafton, Pa.

Leslie was loved by many due to her kind-hearted, straightforward attitude. She loved the local music scene, where she was known as “The Band Mom” and also as the band photographer. She also enjoyed crafting, going on cruises, cooking, and hosting parties with her family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Jack C. Chamberlin, whom she married June 5, 2011; two sons, Brian (Jamie) Tomlin of Howland and Scott Tomlin of Austintown; three brothers, Daniel (Kim) Tingler of Southington, Joseph (Lisa) Turner of Salem, W.Va. and Dean Guesman Jr. of Salem, W.Va.; four sisters, Kimberly (Will) Davis of Euclid, Deanna (Jim) O’Connor of Masury, Dawn (John) Myers of Linesville, Pa. and Michelle Guesman of Girard; eight grandchildren, Zachary, Ashley, Cristian, Leena, William, Faith, Landon and Bianca; and two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Kryslin.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving dog, Sophie.

Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16. 2020, at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Erica Brown.
