Mary Denovchek 1924-2019
CORTLAND — Mary Denovchek, 94, died Thursday, July 11, 2019, at home.
She was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Warren, the daughter of Morris and Antonia Kuzmack Pecuzok.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Warren.
Survivors include her children, Stephen Denovchek of Columbus, Jerry Denovchek of Cortland, Susan Huning of Punta Gorda, Fla., Mary Kay Pirigyi of Niles and Carol Denovchek Sudano at home; sister, Ann Cvercko of North Lima; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Denovchek; two brothers and two sisters.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Warren, where the body will lie in state 9 to 10 a.m. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park, Warren.
Arrangements have been handled by the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren.
