Dana F. Maselli 1967-2019

AURORA — Dana F. Maselli, age 51, of Aurora, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma and is now with his heavenly Father.

He was born Sept. 9, 1967, in Garfield Heights, a son of Donald and Diana DeSantis Maselli.

Dana had a true passion for life. He cherished time with his family and friends whether traveling or spending time together over a good Italian meal. He cheered hard for the Browns, Indians, Cavs, Buckeyes and Dayton Flyers.

As an owner of APO Pumps and Compressors, he took great pride in the success of his employees and cared deeply about his customers. A lifelong, avid golfer he held both the sport and the relationships formed on the course close to his heart. He appreciated all who were there to help him celebrate three holes-in-one in one special month. Dana will be missed for his high energy, contagious laugh and sharp-witted humor but he is “free as a bird now.”

He is survived by his beloved wife, Joannie Kramer Maselli; loving children, Kati, Kerri and Matthew; dear father, Donald of Warren; dear sister, Disa (Mark) D’Andrea of Warren; and many nieces and nephews.

Dana was preceded in death by his dear mother, the late Diana DeSantis Maselli.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at The Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Bainbridge, Ohio 44023.

Arrangements are by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, Twinsburg, Ohio 44087. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Western Reserve, The Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland or a charity of your choice.
