Jeanette I. Nevinski 1950-2018

LEAVITTSBURG — Jeanette I. Nevinski, 68, passed into eternity to be forever with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family, early Wednesday morning, Dec. 5, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

She was born July 15, 1950, in Chardon, a daughter of Howard and Ethlyn (Joiner) Lucht.

Jeanette was a 1969 graduate of Berkshire High School. She then attended Trumbull Business College and achieved an associate degree in bookkeeping. She was most recently employed with Select Sportswear in Warren for 15 years, prior to retiring in 2012.

She married David L. Nevinski on June 25, 1977. They shared 41 years of marriage and many happy memories together. He survives her.

Jeanette was a member of the First Baptist Church in Howland. She was very active in her church, serving as a Sunday school teacher, Junior Church worker, and was an AWANA leader. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, reading and sewing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she dearly loved.

Besides her husband, Jeanette is survived by her father, Howard, of Westchester; four children, Marsha (Daniel) Morgan, of Negley, Sonja (Ben) Gavitt of McDonald, Clarisa (Paul) Hicks, of Columbia, Tenn., and David Nevinski Jr. of Newbury. She also leaves behind two sisters, Gayle (Del) Southwell, of Mancelona, Mich., and Joyce Lucht, of Georgia, and five grandchildren, Sienna, Peyton, Connor, Daniel and Gabriel.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Howard “Mitch” Lucht.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Howland, 8957 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44484.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, 533 N. Park Ave., Warren, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Jeanette will be laid to rest in the Braceville Township Cemetery.
