Barbara E. Natale 1945-2017

WARREN — Barbara E. “Barb” Natale, 71, of Warren, passed away Sunday morning, June 18, 2017, with her loving family by her side.

She was born July 23, 1945, in Warren, the daughter of Joseph and Ann Susko Grgurich and was a lifelong area resident.

Barb will be sadly missed but always remembered by her family and friends for her kind heart and straightforward personality. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and teacher.

Barb was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Kent State University, where she majored in Spanish and minored in English.

Barb worked with young women, through grant funding, helping to educate and shape their lives before she retired after 25 years of service with the Warren City Schools as a substitute teacher. She returned to the classroom after retirement, teaching part time at John F. Kennedy High School in Warren for a number of years.

Barb was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish-St. James Church. She was also past president of several associations, including the 9 Hole Ladies Golf League at Trumbull Country Club, the Warren Junior Women’s League and the Trumbull County Women’s Bar Auxiliary. Barbara was also president of the Condo Board Association.

Barb had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed golfing, working in her yard, shopping and traveling, especially to New York. She also loved socializing with her family and friends.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of over 49 years, Atty. Anthony M. Natale; a daughter, MaryBeth (Scott) Miller of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Anthony J. Natale of Warren; her granddaughter, Emily Miller; and a sister, JoAnn Woodworth of Sarasota, Fla.; along with many friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Honoring Barb’s wishes, her family is having a party to celebrate her life 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Enzo’s Restaurant, 2918 Elm Road NE, Warren; and everyone is asked to dress in bright, casual clothing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman (new location).

In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made, in Barbara’s name, to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, 812 Youngstown Kingsville Road SE., Vienna OH 44473.
