James E. Talbert
ALLISON, Pa. – James Edward Talbert, 85, of Allison, Pa., passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, with is loving family by his side.
He was born May 24, 1929 in Allison, Pa., the son of Carl and Esther Gibson Talbert.
James worked for Local 411 in Warren for 33 years as a lineman working on power lines.
He was a warm-hearted person who loved all animals and loved to be around people, especially his family.
He will be sadly missed by his loving companion, Helen Freeman of Scenery Hill, Pa.; two sisters, Lorraine Mazzocco of Destin, Fla., and Gwendolyn (Oliver) Matzler of Allison, Pa.; two brothers, Carl Talbert of Allison, Pa., and Joseph (Alveta) Talbert of Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Holt Talbert.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and on Thursday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, in the Novak Funeral Home, 515 Front St., Brownsville, Pa.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
