Audrey E. Lunsford 1937-2013 Jeffrey T. Davenport 1964-2013
NORTH JACKSON – Audrey E. Lunsford, 75, and Jeffery T. Davenport, 48, mother and son, perished in their home the morning of Jan. 20, 2013.
Audrey was born Oct. 22, 1937, in Vanceburg, Ky., the daughter of Orie and Ada McGlothen Lewis.
She had been employed by the Grandview Nursing Home.
Audrey enjoyed taking care of her big dog, Luke, and her bird, PeBe, singing and going to church.
Audrey was a devoted member of the General Assembly Church of God for more than 35 years. She was a faithful witness of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Preceding Audrey were her parents; her stepfather, Morton Sparks; her two sisters; her one brother; and her three nephews.
Jeffery Tod was born July 19, 1964, in Mansfield, the son of Pete and Audrey Ellen Lewis Davenport.
He was a graduate of Jackson-Milton High School.
Tod was a collector of antiques and Native American items. He enjoyed poetry and was interested in wolves. Tod was loved by all his family, his siblings, his aunts, his uncle, his nieces, his nephews and many cousins.
Preceding Tod were his father; grandparents, Morton and Ada Sparks; his three cousins; two aunts; and an uncle.
Audrey and Tod will be lovingly remembered by their family, Audrey’s sons and daughters and Tod’s siblings, Charles Sartin of Arizona, Steven Lunsford of North Jackson, Gilbert Lunsford of Newton Falls, Cathy Coleman of Arizona and Amanda Bayer of Leavittsburg; Audrey’s grandchildren, Aaron, Audrey, Austin, Christopher, Blake, Addison and Allie Georgieanna; her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Marieanna Rose and Zoie Mae; her nine sisters and her brother; and Tod’s nine aunts; his uncle; his cousins; his three nieces and his four nephews.
A service and fellowship will be held Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the General Assembly Church of God in Newton Falls.
Arrangements for Audrey and Tod were entrusted to the Borowski Memorial Home in Newton Falls.
