Police activity reported Nov. 10-20:
Nov. 20, 12:10 p.m. — Domestic dispute reported at 2891 Tibbetts Wick Road after a man and woman were arguing over children and food. The man told police the woman kicked him in the face and attacked him, and threw a vase at him. Police spoke to the man and saw red marks and bruises. The woman had left the house with children.
10:41 a.m. — Dog bite reported at 1328 Deforest Road after a woman told police she was delivering for Door Dash to the address where she placed the delivery and a large dog came through the screen door and bit her on the hand and legs. Police spoke to the dog owner, who said the dog had its shots. Police said the dog will be sent to Trumbull County Health Department.
Nov. 19, 7 p.m. — Theft of vehicle reported at the Petro Truck Stop after a semi truck was stolen. The driver told police the vehicle was locked but when she returned, the truck was gone. Police spoke to the manager about security camera footage.
6:17 p.m. — Harassment reported at 1751 Rosalyn Drive after a woman told police she has a protection order against a man who is contacting her by messages. Police advised the woman to file charges with the Niles city prosecutor.
Nov. 17, 8:38 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 23 11th St. after two men reported someone at a nearby home has been playing music very loudly. Police stopped a man leaving the residence in a vehicle who said the situation was getting out of hand. Police heard loud noise and yelling and asked all people inside the residence to step outside. Danny Knicely was taken by police and faces charges of obstructing officials business, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in Niles Municipal Court.
10:28 a.m. — Police were called to Giant Eagle in Niles to locate a man who had a folding pocket knife. Police transported Kevin Bantell to Trumbull County jail since he had a warrant.
Nov. 15, 1:34 p.m. — Suicide reported at 3607 Carver Niles Road after people expressed concern for the well being of a woman, who was transported to the hospital.
Nov, 14, 10 a.m. — Shoplifting reported at 20 Youngstown Warren Road after an employee at Dollar General reported two men took T-shirts and disposable razors and were confronted by store employees before leaving the store. A cellphone was left behind by one of the men.
Nov. 12, 11:50 p.m. — Harassment reported at 2721 Salt Springs Road after an employee at Sheetz told police a man had made vulgar statements on Facebook to her. Police advised her to file charges in Niles Municipal Court.
Nov, 10, 3 p,m. — Theft reported at 58 Youngstown Warren Road after an employee of Dunkin Donuts said a deposit of $1,726 was not made by an employee. Police spoke to the employee, who left business with the deposit.
