Police activity reported April 2-29:

April 29, 9:54 p.m. — Civil complaint reported at 451 Ohio Ave. A man told police a 2002 Dodge Dakota he purchased did not include title and bill of sale since the car was from another state. The Bureau of Motor Vehicles from Virginia said the vehicle was not from the state. Police checked and found the vehicle was from Florida.

8;33 p.m. — Domestic dispute reported at 429 Pennsylvania Ave. after man and woman were arguing. The man told police he was trying to get his belongings. There was no physical altercation.

April 26, 10:35 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at the basketball court at Woodland Park, where a man reported his child did not show up for a custody exchange.

April 22, 10:32 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 451 Ohio Ave. A man told police his wife would not let him pick up his daughter for visitation.

April 22, 1:19 p.m. — Petty theft reported at 351 Illinois Ave. after the resident did not get a package with cellphone inside, which was delivered the day before. The package went to the wrong address.

April 21, 6:36 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 451 Ohio Ave. A woman reported a man did not show up for custody exchange.

April 19, 2:11 p.m. — Domestic disturbance reported at 327 Hayes Ave. A woman reported a man took her house keys and withdrew money using a bank card. A laptop computer was also vandalized. The woman was advised to seek a restraining order at Niles Municipal Court.

1:53 p.m. — Disturbance and possible assault reported at 550 Ohio Ave. A resident heard a door slam in the hallway and then went to see if someone was there. The resident told police someone pt their hands on her shoulder.

April 18, 8:16 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 451 Ohio Ave. A man told police he went to his ex-wife’s house to pick up a child and no one was at the house.

8:07 p.m. — Private property accident reported at 100 Ohio Ave. A parked vehicle was hit in a parking lot possibly by a semi truck.

April 16, 4:43 a.m. — Disorderly conduct reported at 1315 Pennsylvania Ave. Loud music was heard coming from Madison and Ohio avenues area. Police learned music was coming from a speaker hanging from a window at the rear of a house. Police removed the speaker from a bag.

April 15, 4:48 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 429 Pennsylvania Ave. A man and woman were arguing over a child who was not at home for custody exchange.

April 12, 9:27 a.m. — Death investigation reported at 424 Pennsylvania Ave. A man was found unresponsive in a bedroom.

April 7, 2:26 p.m. — Neighbor dispute reported at 1120 Annabelle Ave. after the resident ordered pain medicine online and did not receive it. Woman told police she believes a neighbor may have taken the medicine when it was delivered to the house. The neighbor told police he did not know anything about a missing package.

April 6, 10:29 p.m. — Found property reported at 813 Ohio Ave. A man cutting grass found a pink bicycle behind his garage. The bike was taken to the police department.

April 2, 10:33 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 813 Oregon Ave. A man showed up at the house to argue with a woman over power of attorney being changed. The man left when police were called.
