Police activity reported Oct. 1-31:
Oct. 31, 10:22 a.m. — Medical call reported in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue after a family became concerned an upset woman would harm herself. The woman was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Oct. 30, 7:51 p.m. — Juvenile offense reported in the 600 block of Ohio Avenue after juvenile at Woodland Park said two older juveniles assaulted him. Police attempted to speak to the parents of the juveniles involved.
Oct. 29, 11:06 p.m. — Crash investigation reported in the 300 block of Indiana Avenue after an animal hit the side bumper of the vehicle causing damage. The driver did not know what type of animal it was.
7 p.m. — Disturbance reported in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue after a male juvenile reported someone took his wallet and money. The juvenile also told police of being assaulted by the ball pit. Police were checking security cameras.
Oct. 26, 8;49 a.m. — Found property reported in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue after unused prescription medication was found.
Oct. 25, 1:38 p.m. — Petty theft reported at 425 E. Seventh St. after someone broke into unlocked vehicles and took a debit card and a knife.
Oct. 23, 9:31 p.m. — Custody dispute reported in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue after a woman refused to give a child to the father.
Oct. 21, 8:10 p.m. — Harold Rice Jr. was stopped by police on Ohio Avenue and received a summons to appear in Niles Municipal Court on a drug paraphernalia charge.
7:11 p.m. — John Raymond Morris was stopped by police on Ohio Avenue and received a summons to appear in Niles Municipal Court for a traffic citation.
Oct. 20, 2:15 p.m. — Custody dispute reported in the 300 block of East Fifth Street after a woman reported a man did not bring their child back home. Police were in contact with Austintown police regarding the matter.
Oct. 19, 12:30 p.m. — Pills were found in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue.
Oct. 17, 2:31 p.m. — Criminal damage reported at 306 Pennsylvania Ave. after a man and woman were arguing and the man kicked and punched a vehicle and dented it.
Oct. 15, 8:11 p.m. — Petty theft reported in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue after a juvenile’s bikes were missing from park.
Oct. 11, 1:46 p.m. — Assault reported in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue after a man reported being assaulted at a rummage sale after several people were arguing.
Oct. 10, 11:57 p.m. — Theft reported at 438 Grant Ave. after keys to a vehicle were missing.
11:47 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 329 Illinois Ave. after someone cut down flowers. Several neighbors were arguing over the matter and threats were made to harm someone.
11:39 p.m. — Private property accident reported in the 600 block of Iowa Avenue after someone broke the window of a car parked at the high school.
10:02 p.m. — Officers assisted the Liberty Police Department after a McDonald man called police concerned for the safety of another man who threatened to harm himself on Facebook.
Oct. 8, 10:32 p.m. — Criminal damage reported in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue after a juvenile broke a mirror and did other damage to another juvenile’s bike at the park.
Oct. 6, 10:23 p.m. — Menacing reported in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue after a man flagged down police and said several male juveniles made threats to female juveniles at the park.
Oct. 4, 7 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 345 Iowa Ave. after a man attempted to pick up a child from the mother, but there was no answer at the door.
Oct. 2, 1 p.m. — Inducing panic reported at the high school off Iowa Avenue after school officials found a social media post of student holding a gun on Instagram. The student was confronted about the video.
11:15 a.m — Criminal trespass reported at 309 E Fifth St. after people were seen trying to get inside a home.
Oct. 1, 9:38 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 309 E. Fifth St. after a woman would not let a man get inside to get his belongings.
