11:19 a.m. — A caller reported that a woman dropped a bag of what appeared to be marijuana at Dollar General, 331 Robbins Ave.

March 27, 10:21 p.m. — A caller reported that a white man walking toward Robbins Avenue tried to get into her side door at 622 Washington Ave.

10:20 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 622 Washington Ave.

8:09 p.m. — Hit-skip accident reported at 5373 Youngstown Warren Road. A small red Ford four-door hit a black Malibu.

7:22 p.m. — A warrant arrest of Brett Evans, 46, was made at St. Joseph Warren Hospital, 667 Eastland Ave., Warren. Evans was booked into the Trumbull County jail through the Niles Municipal Court at 7:55 p.m. on a charge of violating a protection order. Evans had 17 prior bookings, according to Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office records.

7:16 p.m. — Attempt to locate a 17-year-old girl and a 12-year-old runaway from Portage County who left in a gray car reported at 320 E. Federal St.

5:45 p.m. — Custody problem reported at 229 Ann St.

9:25 a.m. — Niles police assisted EMS at 430 Bonnie Brae Ave.

7:47 a.m. — A caller reported a naked man at the intersection of Mahoning Avenue and Pratt Street.

1:05 a.m. — Overdose of a 21-year-old man reported at 122 Chestnut Ave. The man was transported to Trumbull Regional Medical Center.

March 25, 9:06 p.m. — Overdose of a 21-year-old man reported at 122 Chestnut Ave.

7:19 p.m. — A caller reported that a man threw a woman out of a car and may have hit her with a bat in the parking lot of KFC.

6:14 p.m. — A dog reportedly attacked another dog at Niles Pet Salon, 334 S. Main St.

5:19 p..m. — A black man wearing a hoodie asking for money reported at Target, 5555 Youngstown Warren Road.

4:55 p.m. — Use of counterfeit bills reported at Leggings Outlet, 5555 Youngstown Warren Road.

4:50 p.m. — Use of counterfeit bills reported at Shoe Department, 5555 Youngstown Warren Road.

2:03 p.m. — Telephone harassment reported at 36 Franklin Ave.

11:38 a.m. — Abandoned vehicle reported at Pit n Gas, 522 Robins Ave. A caller reported that a Kia in the parking lot had been running since 6 a.m. According to the owner of the vehicle, it had only been there for an hour.

10:59 a.m. — Lost property reported on the 1100 block of Mason Street. A woman lost her drivers license in New York City.

10:04 a.m. — Officers attempted to serve a summons at 124 Lawnview Ave.

March 24, 11:31 p.m. — Overdose of a 26-year-old woman reported at Days Inn, 1300 Youngstown Warren Road. The woman was transported to Trumbull Regional Medical Center.

2:07 p.m. — Arrest made following a traffic stop at Red Lobster, 5701 Youngstown Warren Road. A customer reported having seen a white man steal a bat from Dicks Sporting Goods and then walk into the restaurant. The bat was returned to Dicks Sporting Goods.

1:35 p.m. — Crash involving a black Camaro and a blue minivan reported at Family Dollar, 353 Robbins Ave.

12:11 p.m. — Assault reported at Niles Intermediate School, 120 E. Margaret Ave.

11:05 a.m. — Suspicious person reported in the parking lot of Fizek, 5555 Youngstown Warren Road. A caller reported a white man going door to door trying to get into vehicles.

9:32 a.m. — Verbal domestic dispute reported at 1777 Taft Ave.

1:47 a.m. — Suspicious person reported at the intersection of Robbins Avenue and Washington Avenue.

March 22, 9:39 p.m. — Crash involving one car and a pole reported at 106 West Third St.

8:38 p.m. — Theft reported at Marc’s, 6024 Youngstown Warren Road. A customer left his wallet at the store, and when he returned he discovered a security video of a clerk chasing another man into the parking lot and asking if the wallet belonged to him. The other man took the wallet.

8:06 p.m. — Standby requested at Niles Middle School, 411 Brown St., following a drama club performance. Two people had an argument earlier in the day and the caller was worried there might be a further problem.

7:34 p.m. — Overdose of a 38-year-old woman reported at 304 Grant St. The woman was transported to St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

7:20 p.m. — Domestic dispute reported at 102 Royal Mall Drive. An intoxicated father assaulted his 13-year-old son and then left in a gray Jeep.

6:16 p.m. — Suspicious vehicle reported at 514 Hunter St. A black Ford F-150 was reported sitting in front of a house for over 30 minutes.

3:40 p.m — Suspicious activity reported at 678 W. Third St. A white man in a black four-door car appeared to be following and photographing a 12-year-old girl who was walking home from school. The man said he was photographing houses.

3:25 p.m. — A drivers exam officer reported the wind blew open the door of the drivers’ education car and hit a nearby vehicle, leaving a dent, at the Eastwood Mall, 5555 Youngstown Warren Road.

3:07 p.m — Unwanted person reported at 12 S. Main St. A young white man in a parking lot was asking for money.

11:39 a.m. — A man on foot reported a stray dog following him at the intersection of West Federal Street and West Margaret Avenue.

10:13 a.m. — A sick skunk in the road was reported at the intersection of Andrea Boulevard and Frederick Avenue. The caller said the skunk had been there since the previous night. The game warden was sent out to trap it.

9:14 a.m. — Damaging of a lawn reported at 439 Summit Ave. A caller reported that a car went off the road and struck her fence and the neighbor’s tree.

7:41 a.m. — Crash reported at Niles McKinley High School, 616 Dragon Drive.

March 21, 9:03 p.m. — Hit-skip accident reported at 31 Royal Drive. The caller said the accident took place in the parking lot some time during the night.

7:25 p.m. — Male screaming for help reported at 1750 Gypsy Lane.

3:35 p.m. — Crash reported at the intersection of Youngstown Warren Road and Gypsy Lane.

3:28 p.m. — Crash reported at 1100 Lantern Lane.

2:42 p.m. — Crash reported at 640 Fifth St. A car hit a tree in a yard and the driver sustained unknown injuries.

2:14 p.m — Theft of a vehicle and a credit card reported at 927 Fifth St. Zachary Datchuk was booked on a charge of theft at 3:38 p.m. through the Niles Municipal Court following the report, according to Trumbull County Sheriff’s office records.

1:17 p.m. — Unwanted person reported at 181 Royal Mall Drive.

10:12 a.m. — Criminal damaging reported at 329 Wood Ave.

1:42 a.m. — Noise complaint filed at 5616 Youngstown Warren Road. A man was reported yelling inside an apartment.
