Police activity reported Aug. 3-30:

Aug. 30, 5:24 p.m. — Theft by deception involving a telephone scam reported at 717 New York Ave.

Aug. 28, 9:11 p.m. — Assist to Niles police with sexual assault investigation.

8:36 p.m. — Attempted identity fraud involving a phone scam seeking information reported at 1002 New Jersey Ave.

8:10 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 443 McKinley Blvd. with people yelling at each other. One person would not let another person into the house.

Aug. 27, 7:28 p.m. — Traffic crash reported at 553 Illinois Ave.

Aug. 25, 9:36 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported at 320 Indiana Ave. A video recording shows a car at the scene.

7:30 p.m. — Unruly juveniles reported playing at construction site across from resident at 1150 Parkview Ave. Juveniles were seen inside the foundation where a house was to be built. Juveniles were seen throwing rocks at the house and spray painting the house. Juveniles required to clean up property.

Aug. 24, 2:39 p.m. — Custody dispute reported at 320 Ohio Ave.

1:14 a.m. — New shoes found in Woodland Park off Pennsylvania Avenue.

Aug. 23, 4:59 p.m. — Possible theft of money from a parent-school organization reported on West Second Street. Ongoing investigation taking place.

Aug. 22, 1:08 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 636 Illinois Ave. after a woman reported a man in vehicle drove by her home yelling threats out the car window.

Aug. 19, 10 p.m. — Someone rummaged through two unlocked vehicles at 900 New Jersey Ave.

8:50 p.m. — Domestic dispute and telephone harassment reported at 642 Indiana Ave. after a male was causing a dsitrubance and made threats.

1:32 p.m. — Resident reported a man was taking photos of his vehicle in parking lot at 450 Ohio Ave.

1:08 p.m. — Dog bit woman in her yard at 1027 Logan Drive. Owner of dog said it got out of house accidentally and offered to pay any medical bills for the victim’s injuries.

12;15 p.m. — Missing 21-year-old male reported at 420 East Second Street. A male was seen near McDonald Street and Olive Street. Emergency medical crews arrived and assisted the man.

5:23 a.m. — Stolen vehicle reported at 101 McDonald Ave. after people found a vehicle hidden off the road.

Aug. 18, 11:42 a.m. — Theft of vehicle reported at 102 Adam St. after car was missing from driveway,

10:02 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 824 Indiana Ave. after a t-shirt found in the exhaust pipe of a car.

Aug. 17, 7:55 p.m. — Custody dispute over parent picking up a child reported at 451 Ohio Ave.

Aug. 15, 4:19 p.m. — Criminal damaging reported at 973 McDonald Ave. after loud four wheelers were doing “brodies” in front yard.

Aug. 13, 8:50 p.m. — Possible domestic reported at 803 Texas Ave. after woman had injuries to her eyes.

8:12 p.m. — Civil complaint reported at 327 Hayes Ave. after a female fell through steps.

Aug. 12, 7:01 a.m. — Vandalism reported on McDonald Avenue after portable toilet was set on fire in front of the water tower. The toilet was there for utility workers.

Aug. 10, 7:29 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 834 Florida Ave. after someone egged a vehicle in a driveway.

4:25 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 838 Florida Ave. after a vehicle was egged.

2:16 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 81 Florida Ave. after a vehicle was egged in front of a house.

1:48 p.m. — Child custody dispute reported at 320 Ohio Ave. after one parent did not get their child.

12:43 p.m. — Criminal mischief reported at 500 Third St. after a vehicle was egged.

Aug. 9, 8:32 a.m. — Petty theft reported at 457 Ohio Ave. after $60 in an envelope and $19 in cash was missing from a pop money cup.

Aug, 7, 2:29 p.m. — Neighbor problem reported at 438 Grant St. after neighbors were yelling at people when they started their cars.

Aug. 6, 12:12 p.m. — Identity theft reported at 632 Pennsylvania Ave. after possible fraud over a debit card.

Aug 5, 2:24 a.m — Intoxicated male was causing problems and making threats at 311 Hayes Ave. Randall Friend was summoned to McDonald mayor’s court on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. He was taken to Trumbull County Jail.

Aug. 3, 12:06 p.m — Criminal damage reported at 327 Illinois Ave. after someone shot a backyard fence with a BB gun.
