Niles schools constructing 5 new tennis courts
Staff report
NILES — Construction is underway on a project for Niles City Schools to build five tennis courts.
Niles City Schools approved transferring $286,000 to fund construction of the new tennis courts and will be supplemented by a $175,000 grant from the U.S. Tennis Association.
The tennis courts will enhance recreational facilities for students with completion slated for spring 2026, according to district officials.
The district’s contribution covers its share of the costs for the courts, which are intended to support school programs and local tennis activities.
