WHAT: Trustees meeting Tuesday

PRESENT: Ryan Yoho, Ed Anthony and Kay Anderson

Trustees:

• Heard from Yoho the water treatment plant construction is set to begin this spring and take 18 months to complete as part of phase 1. He said Burgess and Niple are ordering catch basins. The second phase is set to begin in late summer.

• Reported that Dave King has been named full-time road superintendent.

• Hired Braeden Root as a full-time road department driver / laborer at $18 per hour; rehired Thomas Stevey as part-time seasonal groundskeeper at Johnson Community Center at $975 per month; and rehired Robert Danko as part-time seasonal cemetery caretaker and groundskeeper at $13.50 per hour.

• Approved having the fire chief, zoning inspector and county health department inspect a trailer at 180 N. River Road NW and also the county health department to inspect it. The trailer park is planning to remove the trailer and the township needs documentation,

• Set spring cleanup for May 12 and 13 for senior pickup and drop off by residents May 14 to 16 at the road department garage. Identification is needed to drop off items.

• Announced spring cleanup at Johnson Community Center is set for May 24.

• Approved indefinite leave of absence for officer Dallas Young, effective March 29.
