Mahoning and Trumbull county first responders will be honored with free corned beef sandwiches to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Phantom Fireworks is sponsoring the fifth-year gathering 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Jeffrey Chrystal Catering, 2315 Belmont Ave., Youngstown.

“It’s Phantom’s small way of offering our heartfelt thanks to the Mahoning and Trumbull county police and fire service for their strength, courage and dedication they demonstrate every day in keeping our communities protected and safe,” said Bruce Zoldan, Phantom Fireworks CEO.

Police and fire service members may pick up their free sandwich near the front door at Jeffrey Crystal Catering. Participants are asked to wear their uniform or have appropriate identification. One sandwich per person.
