Shots fired outside Warren bar

WARREN — Police responded to a report of shots fired outside a Warren bar early Sunday.

Officers arrived at Up A Creek Tavern on East Market Street about 1:35 a.m. after receiving a call about a disturbance in the parking lot, according to a Warren police report.

Witnesses reported that shots were fired during an altercation involving two vehicles, a black Chevrolet Malibu and a white truck.

According to the report, the Malibu fled west on East Market Street, while the direction of the truck was unknown.

Bar employees informed officers that all individuals involved in the altercation had left before police arrived. Two men, identified only by their first names, were reportedly involved in a physical fight, during which one person was struck in the face.

Officers found blood drops in the snow near the back of the lot, along with a spent .380 Hornady shell casing and a live round. The evidence was collected and logged.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
