WHAT: Board of education organizational meeting Wednesday.

PRESENT: Cheryl Basista, Mark Bodo, Sam Caputo, Joshua Garris and Tim Gleason.

The board:

• Named Caputo as board president and Bodo as vice president for 2025.

• Approved the following appointments: Caputo as delegate to the Ohio School Board annual conference; Gleason as liaison to Weathersfield Township and also alternate to the OSBA annual conference; Garris as legislative liaison; Basista as student achievement liaison; and Bodo as liaison to township trustees.

• Set meetings for 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month at the high school media center.

• Approved Kim Rouan and Shellie Siroki as designs for the public records for the school board.
