WHAT: Township trustees organizational and regular meeting Jan. 6

PRESENT: Rick York, Rex Fee and Doug Emerine

Trustees:

•Named Emerine as chairman and York as vice chairman.

•Approved the guidelines and rental costs for the two main rooms at the township administration building. The larger room rental is $300 for residents and $425 for non-residents, with a 100-person maximum capacity. The smaller room rental is $225 for residents and $325 for non-residents, with a 65-person maximum capacity.

•Approved discontinuing the delivery of water to the township garage after waterlines were checked and water inspected at the building and found to be fine. Officials said this will save the township between $85 and $95 per month.

•Accepted the resignation of D.J. Robinson as a part-time patrolman.

•Set meetings for 6 p.m. the first Monday of the month and a workshop at 6 p.m. the third Tuesday on even-numbered months.
